ABOUT THE ALLIANCE
The Downtown Las Vegas Alliance was founded in 2008 as a member-driven nonprofit 501(c)6 dedicated to shaping and championing the future of our legendary downtown. We serve as a collaborative leader, devoted to creating an attractive, vibrant, diverse and sustainable urban core. On behalf of our members, we:

Serve as a voice for downtown, promoting its continued growth and advocating for improvements

Host an array of small and large events that engage stakeholders and bring members together to strengthen downtown

Lead initiatives and support others to make downtown a great place to live, work and play

History and Continued Growth
Founded in 2008 by a small group of leading downtown business and property owners, The Alliance continues to evolve today as one of downtown’s leading advocates. In 2015 The Alliance developed and began implementing a strategic plan focused on leading greater community impact and enhancing
membership value.

The Alliance and City of Las Vegas
work closely and collaboratively
together to engage stakeholders,
residents and downtowners to promote downtown and maximize its role in improving the region’s quality of life and economy.
Business Improvement District
The Alliance is committed to exploring and possibly creating a privately-led business improvement district (BID). We are working with the City and other stakeholders to identify and understand the benefits, costs, and a BID in Downtown Las Vegas.
